SayLift

Workout and calorie tracker for iPhone and Android

Developer: NiceApps Co.

You can delete your SayLift account and all its data at any time: in the app, or by email if you no longer have it. This page shows both ways, what is deleted and what is kept.

Delete it in the app

The steps are the same on iPhone and Android.

  1. Open SayLift and open Settings.
  2. Under Account, tap Delete Account & All Data.
  3. Confirm. If you signed in with Google or Apple, the app may ask you to sign in once more to prove it is you.

The account and its data are deleted straight away. You need an internet connection. If you are offline, nothing is deleted and the app tells you to try again.

Delete it without the app

Email usefz89@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my SayLift account”.

  • Send it from the email address you signed in with, through Google or Apple. If you write from another address, put your sign-in address in the message.
  • If you bought Premium, the order number on your Google Play or App Store receipt also helps us find the account.
  • We reply to confirm the request, then delete the account and all its data within 30 days.

If you never signed in with Google or Apple, your account is a guest account with no email address, so an email cannot identify it. Use the steps above while the app is still on your phone.

What is deleted

Everything SayLift keeps about you, from the cloud and from the phone:

  • Your account: the account identifier, and the Google or Apple email address linked to it.
  • Workouts: every session, exercise, set, rep and weight you logged.
  • Routines and custom exercises you created or imported.
  • Meals: every food, portion, calorie and macro number, and the meal photos kept on the phone.
  • Coach data: what the coach remembers about your training, its weight targets and the insights it wrote.
  • Your profile and settings: the name on your profile, training style, units, the daily food guide, and the exercise names you taught the voice logger.

This is permanent. There is no undo and no recovery.

What is kept, and for how long

A few records are held by the services SayLift uses, not by SayLift itself. Deleting your account does not remove them. None of them hold your workouts or meals.

  • Crash reports: kept by Firebase Crashlytics for 90 days, then deleted automatically.
  • Usage analytics: kept by Google Analytics for Firebase. Detailed events are deleted after 14 months at most.
  • Purchase records: if you bought Premium, Google Play or Apple keeps the record of the payment, and RevenueCat keeps the subscription history. They keep these for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Uninstalling is not deleting

Removing SayLift from your phone does not delete your account. The cloud copy stays, so a reinstall or a sign-in can bring your history back. To remove it for good, delete the account first, then uninstall.

Your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel Premium. Cancel it yourself so you are not charged again. On Android: the Google Play app → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
