Voice logging is not working
Nothing happens when I tap the mic
SayLift needs microphone permission. Open the iPhone Settings app → SayLift → Microphone and turn it on.
It says there is no connection
Voice logging sends your recording to an AI model, so it needs internet. In a gym with no signal, log manually. That works fully offline and is uncapped.
It heard the wrong weight or exercise
Fix it on the review screen before saving: tap any number to edit it, or tap the exercise name to change the match. Nothing is saved until you approve it.
It says I have hit a limit
Voice analysis is capped at 10 recordings an hour and 20 a day to prevent runaway use. The hourly limit clears within the hour; the daily one resets tomorrow. Manual logging is never capped.
Logging meals and calories
How do I log a meal?
Open the Food tab. Tap the mic and say what you ate, or use the camera, a photo you already took, the barcode scanner or the keyboard. You check the foods and the numbers before the meal saves.
The calories look wrong
They are estimates, shown with ≈. On the review screen, change the amount of any food with the plus and minus buttons, add oil, butter or sauce, or tap "Correct with words" and say what to change. A photo alone often comes out too low, because oil and sauces do not show.
The barcode was not found
The product list does not have every pack. Take a photo of the label instead, or enter the meal by hand from the More menu on the Food tab.
It says I have hit an estimate limit
Meal estimates are capped at 10 an hour and 20 a day, counted apart from workout recordings. Entering a meal by hand is never capped.
How do I set a calorie or protein target?
On the Food tab, open the More menu and choose Daily Guide. Both numbers are optional, and you can change or clear them at any time.
My workouts and my data
I got a new phone and my history is gone
Sign in with the same account you used before and your workouts and meals restore automatically. Meal photos do not come back, because they are kept on the phone only. If you never signed in, the data lived only on the old phone and cannot be recovered.
Can I import a routine from another app?
Yes. Settings → Import Routine, then paste your plan as plain text. The AI splits it into training days and matches every movement to the built-in exercise database. You confirm on a review screen before it saves.
How do I delete everything?
Settings → Account → Delete Account & All Data. That erases your workouts and meals from the phone and from the cloud, and removes the account. It is permanent, with no undo and no recovery, so note down anything you want to keep first. No longer have the app? Delete your account shows how to ask by email, and lists what is deleted and what is kept.
Do you sell my data?
No. There is no advertising SDK in SayLift, no IDFA collection and no cross-app tracking. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is stored and which services process it.
Subscription and billing
What do I actually pay for?
The whole app. SayLift starts with a 3-day free trial that turns on every feature, and after that a subscription keeps them on: voice logging, meal and calorie tracking, the AI coach, the progress dashboard, all 873 exercises, routine import and cloud backup. There is no free tier once the trial ends.
What does it cost?
$4.17 a month on the yearly plan (billed $49.99 a year), $7.99 month to month or $3.99 a week in the United States, after the 3-day free trial. Prices elsewhere are set by the App Store.
How do I stop the trial before I am charged?
Cancel at least 24 hours before the 3 days are up and you pay nothing. On your iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, SayLift, Cancel Subscription.
How do I cancel?
Apple handles all billing. On your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → SayLift → Cancel Subscription. Cancelling stops the renewal; you keep access until the period ends.
I want a refund
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find the purchase and request a refund there.
I paid but it still says locked
Settings → Restore Purchases. If that does not work, email us with the Apple ID email you purchased with and we will look into it.
What SayLift does not do
Is there an Android version?
No. SayLift is iPhone-only and needs iOS 17 or later. There is no Android app, no web app and no Apple Watch app.
Does it sync with Apple Health?
Not today. The integration is written but switched off in the shipping build, so workouts do not appear in the Health app.
