Boostcamp alternative: log your own routine by talking
Boostcamp is built around choosing a program from a large library. Plenty of lifters already have a routine and just want to record it quickly. That is where SayLift fits: you say what you lifted, the AI writes down every set, and a coach suggests your next working weight. There is no program to pick and no account to make.

What is Boostcamp?
Boostcamp is a workout app from BPM Health Co., on the App Store since October 2020. It started by putting well-known Reddit programs such as nSuns, GZCLP and the Reddit PPL into a tracker, and its listing now counts more than 11,000 programs. You pick a program, and the app lays out each session for you.
It is free to use, and Boostcamp Pro adds extra coach programs and more analytics. The US App Store lists Pro purchases from $11.99 to $79.99.
SayLift logs your whole workout from one spoken sentence. iPhone only, 873 exercises built in, 3 days free then $49.99 a year.

- They already have a routine. A library of thousands of programs is a lot of app to step around when you just want to record the five exercises you do every Monday.
- It asks for an account first. Boostcamp's own getting-started steps are to download the app, create an account and choose a program.
- Every set is tapped in. Between sets, with chalk on your hands, that screen is the part of tracking people drop first.
- The Pro price list is long. The App Store shows ten different Pro purchases, so it takes a while to work out what an upgrade would cost.
SayLift vs Boostcamp
With SayLift you train first and log once. Hold one button and say "squat, three sets of five at 225, then leg press, twelve, twelve and ten at 360." The audio goes to an AI model that returns the exercises, sets, reps and weights already structured, and a review screen shows them before anything saves. One recording can cover the whole session.
If your routine lives in a note, a spreadsheet or a message from your coach, paste it in as text and SayLift turns it into training days. From then on the coach looks at what you actually lifted and tells you, exercise by exercise, whether to increase, hold or decrease the weight next time.
The 873 exercises in the app come with step-by-step instructions and photos, stored on the phone, so they open in a basement gym with no signal.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best Boostcamp alternative for logging your own routine?
If you already have a routine and want logging to be fast, SayLift is built for that. You paste or speak your routine in, then log each session by voice, and a coach suggests your next working weight.
Does Boostcamp need an account?
Yes. Boostcamp's own steps are to download the app, create an account and choose a program. SayLift lets you continue as a guest.
Can I bring my Boostcamp routine into SayLift?
Yes. Type or paste the routine as plain text, such as "Day 1: squat 3x5, bench 3x5, row 3x8", and SayLift turns it into training days. A review screen shows the result before it saves.
Does SayLift pick my weights like a program does?
Yes, from your own history. After each session the coach tells you, for every exercise, whether to increase, hold or decrease the weight, and it can call a deload.
